Sand-Art Contest at Shirahama Beach 2016

This Sand Art contest takes place in late May every year. If you have never experienced one, you don't know what you've been missing. A lot of creative planning and hard work go into making these sand works. And they really are pieces of art! This is a gorgeous beach and absolutely worth a visit!
