There is an annual illumination event around Christmas season at the west and south exit areas of JR Shinjuku Station. At the shopping street of Shinjuku “MyLord,” you can go through a gorgeous illumination tunnel and enjoy cute pink Christmas trees. At “Southern Terrace,” colorful illuminations along a path, JR East’s penguin characters with Christmas decorations, and a cube Christmas tree are nicely displayed in the entire terrace area.
