The Toki no Sumika Illumination event takes place at the Gotemba Kogen Resort annually. There are a range of different displays for visitors to enjoy, including a tunnel of light which runs for almost 400 meters, a 20-meter-high (and 120 year old!) illuminated tree, and the Versailles Lights water laser show. There are plenty of places which make for fantastic photo spots, so be sure to bring your camera!
Admission to the event is free, but there are some areas which come with a fee, such as the aquarium section.
