Hotel Crown Palais Hamamatsu

A great hotel three minutes from the station

If you are planning a trip in Japan and want to visit a great castle, eat delicious eel and admire Japan's natural sights, Hotel Crown Palais in Hamamatsu is the ideal place for you.

Hamamatsu, in Shizuoka Prefecture, is a great place to visit. It is famous for its delicious eel and green tea farms, great sights like the Tenryu River, Nakatajima Sand Dunes and Hamanako Lake, and last but not least Hamamatsu Castle, which was Tokugawa Ieyasu’s home for 17 years. It is also the home of the Yamaha Company, Suzuki and Honda, which made Hamamatsu one of the best places to buy musical instruments, motorcycles and automobiles in Japan.

Conveniently located just a short three-minute walk from Hamamatsu station and the main bus station Hotel Crown Palais is a truly good place to spend your time in Hamamatsu. Once you step into the spacious and luxurious lobby, you will be greeted by friendly staff members who will go the extra mile to help you. The front desk staff can also talk to you in English so no need to worry if Japanese isn’t your strength. Personally, that was a definite plus.

The hotel has some amazing facilities and restaurants that you will be able to enjoy. There is an exclusive area for members and hotel guests, where you will be able to enjoy the sauna and huge swimming pool, as well as a bar on the sixth floor. There is also a banquet hall that can accommodate large groups – perfect for weddings, meetings or parties. It can be expanded and arranged in differently depending on your needs.

For gourmet delights, the Shiki (Japanese) and Hon-Hoan (Chinese) restaurants at Crown Palais are very famous for their fresh and savory delicacies sourced from the ocean and mountains that encompass the Shizuoka/Hamamatsu area. Hon-Hoan's chef has even won a culinary award. The hotel does have a buffet restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, where a combination of French and Japanese seasonal dishes are served daily.

There are a few different styles of rooms available as with other international full service hotels, such as single, double, twin, suite and even a few traditional Japanese rooms. For its specific points, the hotel accommodates quite a number of single rooms for business guests and single travelers.

If you happen to be dropping by Hamamatsu and are thinking about where to stay, there is no better place to spend your nights than at the Hotel Crown Palais.
