A special exhibition taking place at the Shiga Prefectural Ceramics Forest looks at humans and animals as depicted by 5 ceramic artists: Beth Cavener from the USA, Susan Halls and Stephanie Quale from the UK, Yoshitomo Nara from Japan, and Kim Simonsson from Finland. There will be approximately 100 works on display which uniquely explore the daily realities of living beings, including Quale's Orangutan (2016), Cavener's Shadow Partner (2018), and Simonsson's Moss Princess (2018).

交通方式

The Shiga Prefectural Ceramic Forest is located around 20 minutes on foot from Shigaraki Station, which is served by the Shigaraki Line.

For those who plan to drive to the venue, take the Shigaraki Interchange from the Shin Meishin Expressway, and it's around an 8 minute drive from there. Free on-site parking is available for up to 250 regular vehicles.
