Whilst making my way up Ranzan Valley, I was lucky enough to discover the Mount Sengen hiking course. Starting from Ogawamachi Station on the Tobu-Tojo Line, this picturesque walk passes through a peaceful residential then traverses up to the top of Mount Sengen through pristine forest. From the top of this peak you can enjoy some impressive views before continuing on to Ranzan Valley.
Beautiful anytime of the year, this area is particular impressive during the autumn season as the bright yellow, orange and red colors provide a colorful contrast to the forest's dark green interior
