The Chichibu Whisky Festival has been held every year since 2014, and it's hosted by a crew of whisky-loving volunteers wanting to spread the enjoyment of the beverage with the world. Event attendees can take part in various whisky tastings from Japanese and international distilleries, purchase bottles of any whiskies they particularly like, or browse other whisky-related items for sale such as books and cigars.

The event takes place at Chichibu Shrine Sanshuden Sakaki, which can be accessed in around 5 minutes on foot from Chichibu Station on the Chichibu Main Line. There are several paid parking lots around the station area for those who opt to drive, but please appoint a designated driver.
