Taking place throughout Golden Week, the Kikuka Winery Festival celebrates this much-loved beverage. There will be a variety of wines from Kumamoto Prefecture available for attendees to enjoy, along with foods that pair well with them.
Even though this event centers around wine, there are plenty of additional activities that make it quite a family-friendly affair, including a circus tent, music performances, tuk tuk rides, and even strider bikes available for the little ones to ride around on.

Getting there
The Kikuka Winery is located in Yamaga, Kumamoto Prefecture. Because of its location, the venue is best accessed via private vehicle, and it's around a 35 minute drive from the Ueki Interchange on the Kyushu Expressway.
If you are using public transport, the winery is around 35 minutes by taxi from Shin-Tamana Station, served by the Kyushu Shinkansen.
