A must visit for any castle lovers, this two-day event involves not only exhibits of castles, but several other attractions such as booths, workshops, seminars, live stage performances and a projection mapping collaboration with Naked Inc.
The Castle Expo is held at Pacifico North in Minato Mirai in late December. On the Saturday and Sunday, it opens from 9am and closes at 6pm (5pm on Sunday). Minato Mirai has dozens of attractions for a full day of fun in Yokohama's entertainment hub. Tickets for can be bought for a slight discount in advance, when made available.
Getting there
By car: 1.5 kilometers from the Minato Mirai Interchange. There is parking for 1154 cars. It costs 270 yen for 30 minutes.
By public transport: Pacifico is about a ten minute walk from the Minato Mirai line Minato Mirai Station.
