Nagasaki no Hana

You can see everything from here

Nagasaki no Hana is a cape that juts out from the far north end of the Yashima Plateau. In the early 1900s, the cape was used to station an artillery battery. Today, it is a great place to enjoy the breathtaking view!

You can access the cape by going north from Route 11 on Route 150, which can be very narrow in parts. Once you go about as far north as you can, there will be a gravel road on your right that you can follow down to a dirt parking lot uphill from the cape. You can go down to the water itself using a set of stairs.

There are beaches to the left and right and, from the end of the cape, you can see nearly 360 degrees including Yashima, downtown Takamatsu, and many of the islands in the Seto Inland Sea that lay between Kagawa and Okayama. It is a popular place to visit, although it is never really crowded and sometimes you can even have the place to yourself.
