Hilton Hiroshima is teaming up with Sanrio for a new themed sweets buffet called My Melody & Kuromi's Sweet Gothic Party, running on select days from early September to early November.
Held at the hotel's sixth-floor dining space (Mozaik), this is the second sweets buffet collaboration with Sanrio, following the Cinnamoroll-themed event running until September 7th. This time, the spotlight is on My Melody and Kuromi, two fan-favorite characters celebrating their anniversaries. Guests can expect a gothic-inspired setting, with decor that blends pink frills and dark charm in true Sanrio style.
The buffet features around 20 different sweets, including adorable cakes like “I’m Crazy About You Bavarian Cream” and “Skull Chocolate Terrine.” Seasonal flavors like fig, violet, and chestnut are paired with playful names that fans will recognize. There are also eight savory options, such as pink potage soup and charcoal pizza inspired by the characters’ signature looks and favorite foods.
The event runs on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 3 pm to 5 pm, and pricing is set at 4,500 JPY per adult and 2,250 JPY for children aged four to twelve. A special limited-time drink, the “Melokuro Acai Berry,” is also available for an extra charge (1500 JPY) and comes with a commemorative coaster.
