Rei Kamoi: Resting Time 2020

A special exhibition 35 years after his passing

活动地点: Kurume City Art Museum, Fukuoka 活动时间: Sep 12th - Dec 6th 2020

Rei Kamoi was a Japanese contemporary artist known for depicting life moments that are rarely deemed as "art-worthy", including portraits of individuals who were under the influence of alcohol. 35 years after his passing, the special exhibition "Resting Time" at Fukuoka's Kurume City Art Museum looks at around 100 of his works, including the award winning "Still Time".

Adult admission to the special exhibition is priced at 1000 yen. Do note that the museum closes on Mondays if you're planning to visit.

交通方式

The Kurume City Art Museum is located approximately 15 minutes on foot from the Nishitetsu Kurume Station, served by the Tenjin Omuta Line.

For those who are driving to the museum, take the Kurume Interchange from the Kyushu Expressway, and it's a five minute drive from there. Paid parking is available at a cost of 200 yen for the first hour, and then 100 yen for each additional 30 minutes thereafter.
