After a somewhat chilly winter, we took advantage of the early spring sun to set out for Minoo waterfall. Being very accessible, it is an ideal location for a short hike if you are only interested in seeing the waterfall. However, if you feel adventurous you can always venture further into the mountains through a myriad of paths and dirt roads. Just take the Hankyu line train or the bus to Minoo station, and you'll be at the waterfall in no less than 20 minutes walking. Just beware of the monkeys; they have become so used to the many visitors, they aren't afraid of treating themselves to the occasional hiker's lunch!
