Summer in the snow country, besides being more mild than other places in Japan, has a unique majesty. The mountains are a perpetual presence, reflecting themselves in the water of the rice fields.

The endless sky communicates with the mountains; the rice fields, also constant, connect the scenery to earth. I hope you enjoy the images I've found.
